The Institute for Private Capital (IPC) is a non-profit research organization founded by UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School to promote a deeper understanding of the role of private capital in the global economy.
The IPC builds academic and industry partnerships to generate academic research around private capital markets, specifically private equity and credit, real estate and hedge funds.
It also maintains a database of private equity fund data and holds events where members and others gather to discuss new research.
Members include institutional investors and investment managers.
