The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) is the trade body for the UK closed-ended investment company sector.

Its members include investment trusts and venture capital trusts (VCTs) trading on public exchanges.

It provides communications, technical guidance, training and statistics to advisers, investors and press as well as government lobbying on a range of relevant issues.

It also helps bring visibility to closed-ended funds and holds events, including a flagship UK conference.

The AIC represents 92% of the UK closed-ended funds industry. Annual fees are based on size and range from £3,400 - £20,750.
