Forester provides initial seed or acceleration capital to a hedge fund, as well as operational support and strategic guidance. In return, Forester's investors receive underlying fund returns, reduced fees, capacity rights and a share of the manager's revenue.
Forester has made strategic investments in 16 hedge fund managers. The firm also provides commingled funds of hedge funds, advisory services, private equity co-investments, and direct investments.
