The Caribbean Alternative Investment Association (CARAIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the expansion of private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit, mezzanine financing and other alternative investments in the Caribbean.
It guides public policy and industry practices through best practices, legal structures and professional qualifications.
It also helps grow the industry through research, networking and promotional activities.
The CARAIA was established in 2019 by the Development Bank of Jamaica.
Membership is at the firm level and starts at $800 annually.
